Light-touch licence
Tobique Gaming Commission
Online gaming licences issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission under its Gaming Act 2023 to foreign operators; it does not authorise play in your country.
My verdict
Tobique is a new, light-touch licence with a working seal validation page but little track record. I treat it as a low-touch baseline. Check the seal on the validation page, and do not expect the regulator to resolve a payout dispute for you.
What it requires from casinos
- Licensees must display the Tobique seal, which links to the validation page.
- Operators follow the Commission's General Code of Practice.
- Operators follow the Commission's AML and CTF regulations.
- Remote licensees follow a Remote Gambling AML Code of Practice.
What to watch out for
- It is a very new regulator, with no long enforcement record.
- Complaint timelines and outcomes are not published.
- Complaints sent through the website form are not accepted for licensed operators.
How to check a casino holds this licence
Click the Tobique seal in the casino footer and confirm it opens validate.tobiquefirstnation.ca with a green tick.
If you have a dispute
Complain to the casino's support first, then file a formal complaint via the Commission's validation page or the Tobique Shield link. The Commission says it ensures the dispute process is followed; no timeframes are published.

Tobique licence questions
How do I check a Tobique licence?
Click the seal in the casino footer. It should open validate.tobiquefirstnation.ca, where a green tick means valid, a yellow warning means issues under review and a red cross means invalid.
Can I self-exclude from all Tobique casinos?
The Commission says opting in excludes you from all sites it licenses, but it does not publish enrolment steps or duration, so contact its support first.
