Malta Gaming Authority (MGA)

The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) is the gaming regulator of Malta and one of the most established licensing bodies in online gambling. Operators licensed under the MGA must keep player funds segregated from company money, submit to regular audits, meet anti-money-laundering and responsible-gambling requirements, and give players an enforceable complaints route through the MGA’s own dispute-resolution process. Licence numbers are publicly verifiable on the MGA online register. It is the standard international licence most reputable casinos hold.
