Curaçao eGaming license
Direct B2C and B2B licences from the Curaçao Gaming Authority under the LOK, used by many international casinos; it does not make a site legal in your country.
My verdict
A Curaçao licence is a standard low-touch licence, and the new CGA regime is a real improvement on the old sub-licence system, which had no direct regulator. Protection is mostly on paper for now, since the CGA does not rule on disputes. I count it as a baseline, not a safety net.
What it requires from casinos
- Operators must run an internal complaints process and offer ADR at no cost to you.
- Players can file complaints up to six months after the event.
- Self-exclusion breaches must be resolved within five business days.
- Licensees must report incidents and periodic complaint data to the CGA portal.
- Direct licences replace the old master and sub-licence model.
What to watch out for
- The CGA does not decide individual disputes, so ADR is your main route.
- The regime is new; many operators were still on provisional licences into 2025.
- Fake seals exist, and revoked operators were removed from the public register in 2025.
How to check a casino holds this licence
Check the CGA licence register, not the seal alone; the CGA says a genuine seal links to a certificate on its own domain.
If you have a dispute
Complain to the operator, which must answer within four weeks. If unresolved, an independent ADR provider paid by the operator can take it, but the CGA does not intervene in individual disputes.
Enforcement example: In February 2026 the CGA warned the public that TrumpBet.cc is unlicensed and misuses its logo and Digital Authorization Seal.

What changed with Curaçao licences?
The LOK came into force on 24 December 2024. It replaced the master and sub-licence system with direct licences from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, with a provisional period that ran to 24 December 2025.
Can the Curaçao regulator help if I am not paid?
Not directly. Operators must offer free ADR after a four-week internal process, and the CGA uses complaint data for supervision instead of deciding individual cases.
