TonyBet is run by TonyBet OÜ (Osaühing Tonybet) of Tallinn, Estonia, according to Casino Guru, AskGamblers and the UK Gambling Commission register entry for Tonybet OU, which I opened on 11 October 2026. AskGamblers lists licences from the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (HKL000393, HKT000016, HKL000098, HKT000015), the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (902), the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, the Latvian gambling inspectorate and the Dutch Kansspelautoriteit. Check each regulator's register for current status.

The record is not spotless. In January 2023 the UKGC sanctioned TonyBet with a £442,750 penalty, a warning and a third-party audit over unfair terms and anti-money-laundering and safer-gambling failures. The terms said winnings could be confiscated if AML documents were not supplied within 30 days, and that accounts counted as dormant after six months instead of twelve. The complaint picture is good. AskGamblers counts 22 complaints in ten years, 21 resolved and one rejected after the player stopped replying, with a 5-day average duration and a 2-day average response. Casino Guru has one relevant complaint on file, and TonyBet answers user reviews there in public. Against that, AskGamblers notes that many players report long withdrawal delays, and one Casino Guru user describes a $15,000 win held over a "third-party deposit" check after he said he had sent bank statements. TonyBet's public reply cites its rule that payments must come from a method in the player's own name. That is one account, not a pattern I can prove, but it matches the UKGC's 2023 findings on withdrawal-time ID demands.

Two things hold the score back. The Dutch regulator warned TonyBet in February 2025 for not offering 24/7 Dutch-language support, which the operator then fixed. And the Casino Guru user with the held $15,000 win describes copy-pasted chat replies, the same weak spot as in Payments: everyday questions are fine, difficult cases are unproven. I give it a 3.5.
